Spring Break(s)

First year of Brady being at college was an adjustment, only because we are used to doing something as a family of four every year but the kids breaks didn’t overlap this year.

But….we still go to have Brady home and squeezed in my bday celebration, a trip to CU Boulder for Brady, mini golf, brunch, a few family dinners, dog walks and even a trip to Tucson for Brady to surprise Grandmama (thanks to some help from Grandbob!).

And just like that, he was back to school but was so nice to have him home for an extended break.

And then, we went with Lylah to Cancun (and she brought Tessa), for a little beach time. I am currently writing this, sitting on the balcony of the hotel, looking out at the bluest waters I have ever seen. Definitely a great choice as far as hotels go (Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach), beautiful weather and some much needed relaxation (I finished a book in two days!!!).

The girls are enjoying lot of sun, ocean time, mocktails and photo opps!

More notes I wrote from the trip!

Grand Fiesta Americana
Coral Beach Cancun

Best Mexican beach resort I’ve been to (other than adults only Royal Hideaway).
Infinite club worth it for the beach section, the location of the room, the ease of dinner reservations, and the extra perks that come with the package (spa massage etc).

The food was excellent and the beach was perfect. Super clear water, soft white sand, no seaweed and good combo of waves and calm. Loved the dock in the water and proximity to tubing and jet skies.
We had some great food, fun evening shows and lots of relaxation time (read my first book on over a year)!!!
And loved seeing lylah in her element at the beach with her good friend Tessa. Just missed Brady!!!

Definitely a break that I needed!
