I am beginning this blog complete....with the family I always dreamed of! Brady is 22 months old and Lylah, just 9 weeks. They are both so amazing to me and I never knew I could love anyone so much! Jon and I have had our eyes opened to a whole new world, full of joys and challenges every day.
Brady is starting to speak in full sentences, counts to 20 and recites his ABC's (maybe not quite in the right order yet!). I can't believe how quickly he has grown from a precious baby into an adorable little boy.

At almost two years old, he loves to play outside, is fascinated with trucks, absolutely loves to dance to all kinds of music (he takes after his dad) and shows sweet and sass all in the same day. We sing songs every night before bed and he lays next to me and twirls my hair in his hands. That's my favorite time of the day with him!
He is making lots of new buddies and "socializing" with some cool dudes. His best friend is Brady Smith (or "Smith") and he has lots of pals from daycare and some new neighborhood friends (Will, Carter and Cole) that he has had fun getting to know.
Brady is very close with his grandparents, talking about them daily, from choo choo with Papa and Grandma Barb to "hoops" and dancing with Grandmama and "Grandbob". He and Lylah both have had several visits from Grandpa Bill and Kate as well. They are lucky kiddos to have such loving grandparents.

And sweet Lylah--she is such a beautiful baby girl. She has adorable smiles and coos and babbles as if in an animated conversation with me. She has teeny tiny feet and great big eyes and truly is a very good baby. I am having so much fun dressing her up in girly clothes although she is already growing out of them so quickly.
She has been my little buddy while on maternity leave, going with me to see friends, shopping, etc. She is sleeping 7-8 hours at night (knock on wood!!) and is such a great cuddler. I hope I never forget the feel of her warm snuggle.
I truly cherish the days I have had with both kids while on maternity leave. Although I will be going back to work next week, I look forward to each and every moment I have with my precious peanuts.
