The Storm!

Sometimes it just takes a nasty, scary storm to put things in perspective. This week, we had the craziest hail storm I have ever seen. We scooped up the kids at 1030pm and ran down to the basement, waiting for the tornado to hit. The sound of the hail on the windows was loud enough that we had to yell to hear each other talk. I held onto the peanuts tight and waited for it to pass. Kinda like life right now.....we've had a rough month with Jon out of work and it is very scary, but we hold onto our kids tight, tell them it will be ok and ride out the "storm". This too shall pass and as I always say, things could always be worse.....I am thankful for what I have and will not go a day without smiling because I have two little love nuggets that make it impossible not to.
