Couple of unexpected twists this Halloween that will make it more memorable than most...but what a fun time!
The kids had a party at their daycare on Friday. It was amazing to watch as Brady actually learned the concept of what a "costume" really is when he walked into his classroom full of ladybugs, fairies, dragons and zoo animals. Lylah loved hanging out with the older kids
and checking out all of the outfits.
Then on Halloween night, Miss Kell hosted the best party. Trick or Treating was so much fun, as Brady ran to every door with his buddies yelling trick or treat and Happy Halloween. He "got it" and he loved it. We even got to walk through a haunted house. Daddy almost missed the fun as he signed the paperwork for a new car (we had been shopping since 11am!) but he made it for the fun and Brady scored some great loot
and had a blast with his buddies. The best was when Jon asked Brady what he was collecting in his bucket and Brady said "money." Jon asked him what he was going to buy with it and he said "chicken". :-)
Later in the evening, Jon and I were both still feeling crummy and just about to leave for the night when Brady got sick and let's just say my Halloween Meat pies were all over Miss Kell's floor! :-( What a way to end a really great Halloween. It will be memorable for all, to say the least!
Thanks for the party Miss Kell (and the clothes, towels, and more!)
