Thanksgiving 2009: SO much to be thankful for! For example, based on the pictures above, we are thankful that the Broncos won their game, that leg-warmers are apparently back in style (nice deep stretch Lylah), that we can dance with abandon in the living room and that even 8 month olds can wear leopard print. Yesterday was a wonderful day full of great food, family and friends. We missed Grandmama and Grandbob and Uncle Bob and the kids all down in Texas but we have some fun memories with Grandma Barb, Papa, Grandpa Bill, Kate, Cousin Dave and Nel, Brian and Addison. We now know to heat the turkey oil an hour earlier...we also learned to carve the turkey "breast side up" and most importantly, Brady announced the he really likes "rooster" when he took a bite of the fried beast. When we asked Brady what he was thankful for this year, he said "mommy, daddy, Lylah, my grandparents, my house, Xmas lights, buddies and Breakfast". Amen to that my little man!
