Like Brady administering his first time out to his stuffed parrot. The colorful stuffed bird apparently "bit" Brady's finger so Brady promptly admonished his feathered friend and put him in time out. He has learned the phrases "Don't do that to me" and "don't talk to me like that". Wonder where he heard those?!?
His imagination is coming to life with a made up soccer game with plastic eggs and story telling every night before bed. We read several books, but now follow those with three or four made up stories. I tell a few, then he tells a few.
And he has become quite the big brother to Lylah.....helping her, annoying her, teaching her and tickling her! Luckily, lots of laughs with her too.
And, his current favorite sports are shooting hoops and golfing......that may change by tomorrow. But he's having a blast with both!
We went to the library this morning and when we got home, he stood on the driveway, fascinated by a group of 6 or 7 boys, about 8 years old. They all were carrying soccer balls and wearing their gear and Brady was mesmerized. As they walked down the street, I asked him if he thought the "bigger" boys were cool, and he said "I am just as big as them".
Don't grow up too fast little one! Plenty of time!
