When I look back on this day, I will remember:
Scott.....4.5 year GBM survivor. The chances of surviving to 5 years with his type of tumor are 10%. I want to see him next year!
Peyton.....11 years old and wise beyond her years
My parents....who all along have supported me in this cause and understand....they have been through everything with me
My family....Jon and the kids....just looking over them and seeing them at the event makes me smile. Thank you for allowing me to continue this event which is dear to me for so many reasons now!
Barb and Greg---thank you for your continued support over the years!
My friends...
- The band included the best drummer in the world, Mr. Brian Smith (who happens to be married to my dear friend Mikelle)
- Meghan and Brad...who drove from Louviers to participate in their first walk
- My co-workers (Craig, Lorii, Melissa, Breen)
- Kathy, Richard, Tim and Sherri
The Committee....
Tina, Stephanie, Jim, Deb, Calae, Donna, Pat, just to name a few.
Every year is special to me but each year I become closer and closer to more people affected by brain tumors. They are truly what courage is all about!
