The food=overpriced, slightly scary and mostly prepared with a can opener

The people=a potpourri of Denver's finest

The atmosphere=somewhere between Chuck E Cheese, Fat City and Taco Bell

The look on Brady's face when the diver came out, the mariachi band performed and the gorilla ran wild=priceless!

I have not seen his eyes get that big, ever. Both kids danced through dinner, oohed and awed at the diver and were a cross between terrified and enamored with the gorilla.

One of my more vivid memories as a kid was of all the fun I had at Casa Bonita....I loved (and remembered) everything about it from when my parents used to take us.

So we will certainly go back again one day and overlook the processed cheese and mystery meat and stock up on sopapillas and entertainment like no other.
