Mr. Sandman

Brady sleeps like a log. I think he takes after my brother, Bob. He has always been a good snoozer...he has gone down to bed fairly easy, slept through the night early on, takes a 2.5 hour nap every day and wakes up like clockwork around 7am.
He has been in his car bed for about a year and a half now. I remember when we first moved him into it, I was so nervous that he would get out of it all the time but that never happened. He never once has gotten out of bed, day or night, without calling for one of us to come and get him first.

Until this weekend. I was fast asleep at 655am this morning when my eyes popped open and I immediately started laughing. Brady was standing right next to my head, giggling with his silly grin, watching me sleep. It made my day/week/month! He proceeded to tell me about his dream that included gorillas!

Yesterday was a close second. I was already awake, but heard his little feet patter into our bedroom at 7am to announce that he needed to go pee.
It's the beginning of a whole new chapter of independence and it's pretty darn cute!
