a good day at the office.....

Today, I watched a deal I had been working on for months come to fruition and it was more than I ever expected.

Operation TBI Freedom will be hitting the air on 9NEWS in a few weeks with a public service campaign that I created. I sat in the back row of the commercial shoot this morning for 3 hours and held back tears the whole time.

I was surrounded by 10 soldiers who had served time in Iraq, Kuwait, the Sudan and more. And all of them had brain injuries, of varying degrees. One in five soldiers returns with some type of brain injury....unbelievable.

All 10 of these soldiers stood in front of a camera today and tried to to read from tele-prompters, as best as they could. They were nervous, anxious and some struggled. Yet, they made it through the morning with humor, comradery and determination to get it done right!

It was a humbling experience and one I won't soon forget.

Another day at the office......another moment that puts things into perspective!
