A lesson learned.....

Sometimes, I question my career and "how important can marketing and advertising really be in the big scheme of things"? But in my current role, I have the opportunity to create works of goodness on random occasions and it's pretty freaking fun!

I created a campaign for one of my clients who happens to a dentist. They wanted to do something community related so we encouraged them to collect candy the week after Halloween from kids and pay them for it. Then, they send the candy to the troops overseas for their enjoyment. We brought the kids to the event on Saturday, toting their full bags of candy that remained intact throughout the past week. Brady and Lylah both made $2, and had a chance to see the piles of candy that all of the generous kiddos brought in. Today, we took their money and went to the dollar store and they each picked out a new toy with their earnings. It was super sweet to see this whole process evolve and the kids so engaged. The whole experience left me inspired to come up with more on this front....!
