This one will go down in history with stomach bugs (dad and Chandler), colds (G-ma), fevers (Lu-Lu) and more! But that didn't stop us for having another fantastic holiday!
We spent the rest of the week (Th-Sun) at grandmama and grandbob's and enjoyed bowling, decorating Xmas cookies, brunch with my brother's family, gift opening, Xmas dinner for 15 and even setting off the house alarm a few times....long story!!
We had such a great time with my brother and his kids....so glad we were able to all be together, even if only for part of the week.
And, we were very lucky to have both my family and Jon's family all together once again for the afternoon and evening on Xmas day.
Jon and I were awake for the day on Xmas morning at 2am with a feverish Lylah but the bean was back to her cheerful self in time for presents!
And then, just like that, the holiday was over.....how does this holiday go by so fast every year?? So much build up time and then poof, it's done! We said goodbye to G-ma and G-bob this morning...they will be gone for the next 3 months :-( and I will miss them dearly.
The kids came back loaded up with their new loot (unpacking took two hours!!) and now we will settle in for a happy New Year ahead, with the fun and fond memories of our 2010 Xmas warming our hearts :-)
