Date with my man

Friday was Date Day.....with Brady. And it was a most memorable day! We all slept in, then Lylah went to school for her last day in her current classroom with her friends. Monday she moves up to the next level and her teachers wanted to have her for one last day.

So, Brady and I set out on our date early in the morning with a quick trip to the library for a new stash of books, then off to Einstein's for some Bagel Poppers and juice. They say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach and I didn't want to let him down on our date.

Then we were off for some cruising......Brady on his big boy bike and me trying to keep up walking alongside. He went the whole way around the lake, laughing and hollering the whole time. We even came up with his new nickname, Batman Brady!

Once we were both worn out from our lap around the lake, we headed back for lunch together and some stories before nap.

The one on one time was exactly what I needed....it was amazing how much more cuddly and affectionate he was when we were on our own.

Next Friday is Girls Gone Wild Day with Lylah where she and I may just paint our toes and have a tea party! Now if I can just squeeze in a date with Daddy in the near future, my one on one time will be complete :-)
