the diaper pail is gone......forever.
I won't miss it....i was not fan of changing the bags. and it seemed to fill up oh so quickly. mounds and mounds of stinky, heavy diapers. I won't miss them, or the expense. I will, however, miss the one on one time of a diaper change, and one of the few things that Lylah needed me for on a daily basis. But of all the things I miss from the infant years, the diaper pail will be close to the bottom of the list!
On another note, Brady scored a record SIX goals in his soccer game today. He made sure to tell us all about it, throughout the game. Next lesson....passing the ball :-) But for now, it's so much fun to watch him enjoy the game and run his little heart out.
Nap time is officially over for Brady. I milked it for as long as I could but little guy just doesn't want/need to sleep at nap time. It's a change for us for sure, but he seems to be adjusting well to the "quiet time" concept, working on puzzles, playing cars and making cards for his friends. Either that, or washing the car with daddy, which is what he is doing right now!
Did I mention I am pleased that the diaper pail is sitting in the garage, waiting for its Tuesday morning trash truck demise???
