So dad and I decided to surprise you for the first time with a trip to San Diego. We had not done a big family trip all summer and I am sure you were wondering what was up!
You both had asked multiple times if we could go to San Diego and little did you know, we had the trip booked the whole summer.
We showed up at your school the Wednesday before Labor day....Brady , you were a little under the weather with a cold so I was worried you would not be feeling great on the trip.
And Lylah, you started crying when we showed up unexpected at school because you were in the middle of an art project :) But when we told you that we were leaving for San Diego, right at that minute, you both were so shocked and excited!!
Some of our adventures...
Sea World...Brady's first big kid roller coaster. Shamu, dolphin shows, and the River Rapid ride over and over again. Journey to Atlantis log ride...
Day two was all about the ocean...spent a little time in the water and went to Seal Beach.
Then it was off to LEGOLAND...for two full days!
The hotel was crazy!! Legos and kids everywhere. Dance party every night...Uptown Funk and more.
Buffet breakfast and rides, rides and more rides. We all loved the Technic Roller coaster (lylah's first big kid coaster) along with the Dragon coaster and more.
We squeezed every minute out of LEGOLAND and had the best time.
Bunk beds, lego treats each day and a bumpy airplane ride home (remember the kid in front of us threw up???)
All in all, it was a wonderful family trip with tons of great memories and fun times.
