This was a fun year of first for me....
The Fab Four (Stacy, Mollie, Jen and Me) decided to venture a bit further out on our girl's trip this year and headed to Palm Springs. We've never all flown anywhere before together and we had not been on our annual trip in 3 years!
Palm Springs was just what we needed... laid back, pool time, fantastic bike ride through the city, a hike in the desert, fun dinner and our first ever drag show!!! Lots of laughs and talks with some of the genuinely nicest people!
and then....tennis! I have been doing tennis drills for a couple of years. I was motivated by seeing Brady out on the courts so much. But this spring, I decided to join a league (ended up on two of them) and had the absolute best time. I battled through lots of nerves, played mostly singles and met some of the nicest ladies on both of my teams. my 3.5 team ended up making it to the finals of districts and I won 2 of my 3 singles matches to get there. Very happy about that. It's been great to have my own hobby back while still cheering on the kiddos with their activities too. They even came to watch me play once which was pretty cool!!
