and then there was July!

 

July was a lot different than June in that we spent a good portion of June traveling and spent most of July back in the hood. Was  nice to be home for a bit although we certainly weren't bored. Brady immersed himself in the Grant Ranch Barracudas swim team and really, really enjoyed it and he managed to squeeze in a few tennis tourney as well (came in second place in the one pictured above!!). 

Lylah and Maddie squeezed in some days volunteering at Children's Hospital Colorado. Each time they were there, they did something different from cleaning equipment to creative play to helping at dog park events. I was super proud of her and enjoyed having her along with me to go to work! Lylah also participated in two cooking camps....I think I gained 5 lbs from the Uncorked class she took...every night she brought home the yummiest of items...whole pies, lemon bars, lasagna, breads, cookies, etc. She squeezed in a day at Water world with friends and has had some fun pool days at hour house, trips to the mall and movies and a few sleepovers with buddies! 

Brady started dating his first girlfriend, Zoey, and so far they have enjoyed some pool time, Top golf, hours of mini golf :-), movies, dinners, etc. He's a sweet, romantical young man and he seems to be really happy, so I am happy! 

Jon and I were even able to squeeze in a date night this month, with a trip to see the Lumineers at Coors Field. Beautiful night, good friends and great music! We have also been playing a lot of singles pickleball which is quite addicting!!
