Varsity Poms!
Lylah rocked it at Varsity Poms this year! It was a
challenging season for the team, as her team was smaller to begin with and then
they lost Quinn to a knee injury the first competition of the season. But so
fun to see Lylah on the sidelines of the varsity football games, front and
center on the team.
Her season was briefly interrupted when she was rear-ended
on her way to one of the football games by a college student going way too
fast! Scared the crap out of Jon and I 9we were across the street
coincidentally having dinner). The back of her car was destroyed and she ended
up with whiplash and a mild concussion!!! It is so incredibly scary to
get that call when your child is in an accident but so incredibly grateful that
she was ok. She did all the things she needed to do to recover quickly and was
back in competitions in no time!
She continues to be a beautiful dancer….I am in awe and
could watch her dance for hours.
