too fast, father time! Things are going by too fast! but having so much fun (and such) along the way! This spring was a different feeling than last (Covid hit us around March 13 last year and was deeply impacting us by April/May). This year had a true spring feeling...fresh start, vaccines in place, travel opening up, in person school. Brady and I were able to go to a Nuggs game with hardly anyone there! We celebrated Easter with an egg hunt and egg decorating. The kids both had their orchestra (Lylah) and band (brady) concerts in person which was fun. And they both graduated their respective grades with really strong report cards! Brady is officially a high schooler (what the heck) and Lylah will be going into 7th grade (how is this possible!)
They are really good kids....although they drive each other nuts sometimes. And they are very different in many ways yet have some similar facial expressions, especially when they are talking back :-)
They are staying active, learning about the friends that they think are the best fit for them and seem to be enjoying the start to summer (hard not to with a trip to Hawaii....see next post, along with lots of pool time with friends, Elitch's trip, Waterworld, painting camp, tennis camp, sleepovers....and it's only 3 weeks into summer!!!!!
I love them so much....not even sure they know how much.
