We had the best time on our New England adventure this summer!
Photos are in reverse order, but we started with just the four of us in Boston for two nights. I wanted the kids to get to experience both a New England city and the quaintness of a seaside town. They loved both!
In Boston, we walked the Freedom Trail and went to may favorite place, Faneuil Hall, for traditional New England Eats. We did the Boston Tea party tour which was fantastic and checked out China Town and Little Italy. After a quick couple days in Boston, we headed up the coast to Booth Bay Harbor Maine and met up with Grandmama and Grandbob, Uncle Bob, Aunt Kelly, Karsten and Keira. We stayed at a little rustic resort that was like an adult and kid friendly day camp. They had bikes everywhere, tennis courts, indoor gaming room, pools, hot tub, boat dock. We visited lighthouses and went on a boat ride to an island for a fantastic clam bake. that was a trip highlight for sure! We ate SO much seafood and just enjoyed having everyone together to see a different part of the country.
Now the kids have been to the four corners...New England, Seattle, Hawaii and Florida!
Definitely another great family vacation exploring another part of the country!
