Chelsea was Lylah's teacher in her infant class and Brady got used to seeing her every morning when we would drop off Lylah.
She has big brown eyes, long brown hair and a sweet smile....no wonder he had a crush. For the past year and a half, even though Lylah has moved on to another class, Brady would insist on stopping by Miss Chelsea's classroom for a goodbye hug every single day. If he didn't get one, he was crushed. And Miss Chelsea would drop everything to make sure she gave Brady the biggest hug. And while he was hugging her, he had the most content look on his face.
Miss Chelsea is gone now. She left a week ago to run another daycare/school. The first few days, Brady walked by and looked like he was going to cry. He didn't understand why she was not there and that she was not coming back. That's his girl and how dare she leave.
He is slowly acclimating to walking by her room and not stopping, not asking for a hug. But I miss the smile on his face when he hugged her tight. I know we will see her again...... and I just bet Brady will remember her for a long, long time.
