B Man

You. The teacher. One giant pool. All to yourselves. I watched you in one 30 minute session try things you had never tried before. You never once questioned your teacher, stopped to play or complain. You were so focused, so serious and so determined to do it all right.
I watched you grow up, in 30 minutes.

You. Kate. And a barrel train. At the Cider Festival, i watched you with your shades on and your protective nature take your girl for a train ride, sharing the same bucket seat. I looked at you and you looked back at me, a 16 year old boy on a date (UGHH) for one brief moment.

You, a card game and some old Maid. I watched you win some and lose some and every time you said "good game". you are learning lessons every single day and it blows my mind.

You. Your Daddy. and hoops practice at the gym. Just the two of you. I watched you dribble all the way down the court, tongue hanging out. You shot, you scored and you celebrated learning a sport that scared you and intimidated you last year.

You. Your Sister and mutual respect and love. Whatever you do, whatever you try, whatever you say....she wants to do it too. when you play together, your laughter is contagious and your friendship is undeniable.

You... One. Cool. Kid!
