Lylah is going to try playing basketball this fall. Many, many years earlier than I ever tried. And she wasn't so sure about it for the past few weeks, until yesterday.
I was so super proud of you when we went out in the driveway...at first just to dribble. Then soon, you were passing my the ball, running and dribbling and low and behold, shooting at the basket.
we went back out today and you practiced even more. the result....6 baskets within 10 minutes.
So very proud of you for trying something new, working hard at it, and enjoying it!!!

And Brady...best soccer game of the season on a league that was a HUGE step up from the rec league you were playing for. Bantam Blue has been a challenge, playing against older, more experienced players and practicing twice as much as he ever had.
today....he scored his first goal of the season. But it wasn't just about the goal. it was about how aggressive he had to be to pass three of the other team to score that goal. It was about amazing footwork, great passing, strong defense and running his booty off. Brady...You graduated today...I think you felt really good about the whole experience and it showed in the way you played. you learned that anything was possible on that field when you thought it impossible earlier in the season.
