These are a few of my favorite things....

Mother's Day was yesterday. Thank you for making it such a special day with the sweet cards, tons of hugs and I love you's! So much is happening right now and time is going by soooo fast.
I am so proud to be your mom and I am lucky to have the best son and daughter in the world!
Some things you should know about YOU....some of my favorite things right now...
Lylah....when we put our heads together and look in the mirror, I see you in me and me in you.  Right now, you are a beanie boo collector. Oh how you love them and it's so cute to see you surrounded by them in bed.
You love art...painting, drawing, creating. The Painted Platter art studio was a huge hit a few weeks ago. You are quite the little gymnast too. Already much better than I was at your age!
You are a soccer star....scoring goals like crazy this season and really going after it. You have learned some fancy moves and you aren't afraid to go for the ball. You have grown so much this past year.
One of my favorites...when you read books to me while I am cooking in the kitchen! And the singing...oh girlie, you love to sing. And I love to hear it....in the bath, in the car, in your room, with your friends! You are starting to try some new foods and I love how you know exactly what you like, and what you don't like. You have a sweet, Nurse nancy side and you love to take care of us when we are hurting.


And Brady,you are having a ton of fun at school and have really worked hard this last semester to kick booty in class! You have worked hard also at soccer...now starting many of the games on your competitive team and really showing a love for the sport and your team (Braden, Alex, etc). You were able to play flag football this spring (dad coached) and I love how active and full of energy you are (although you like your video games too!)
You are my little eater too (or big eater, I should day). I can count on you to try anything and love most everything. You and I had a date night for sushi a few weeks ago and it was so fun! You also love Yabby Hut, The Melting Pot, Jimmy Johns, Dad's wings and homemade Pizza, Key Lime Pie, Banana bread, "liquor" cake (as you call it) and more.
You started (and finished) the Harry Potter series. It took you all of 3 months to whip through it and it was really fun to see you get into it so much.

you both still like to play games with us...Wits and Wagers, Life, Boggle, Chess, and more and we have been enjoying our family TVnights of The Voice, AFV and more. and you like to drive each other nuts and brothers and sisters do, but it melts my heart to see you two play together and look after each other when it matters most.
