Holy cow these years go by fast. We celebrated your first day of school in August (4th and 6th grades). Brady's last year at Blue Heron!
once the school year hit, we had our first major round of injuries, with ER visits for both kiddos for various injuries (teeter totter for Lylah and Biking and recess football for Brady). Hopefully that is it for at least a little while!
Had some great fall hikes with you (with and without Charlie) and my first real sense that you are growing up sooooo fast and that you are becoming young adults. So smart, so fun, funny, kind and still sometimes silly.
I love every second that I get to spend with you, even if you are driving each other nuts.
I will say that it is VERY clear that you love each other. you may not always show it, but your closeness is real and I know you have each other's backs.
You both have started to say "there we go''....to Charlie, to me, to each other. It's a saying I have said often, when tucking you in and trying to make you comfortable and it makes my heart big to hear you say it too!
I only wish you could truly know how proud I am of you and how much I love you. You have the ability to make such a difference on this world, just with your kindness, big ideas, smarts and good nature.
I am always here for you!!!
