Little fall tidbits

Field Day 2018 for Brady, 6th grade rite of passage....and the day he left to get on the bus, he was sick, so very sick. He really wanted to go so I let him, and then proceeded to come home and cry, and cry. We got the call the next morning that he wasn't doing so well, so Jon drove up, got him, brought him home and let him sleep for 13 hours. Tough guy got up the next day and said he wanted to go back. He stuck it out and was able to have the experience. Granted, it wasn't the same as if he had been feeling well, but I was proud of him for toughing it out and making the best of it. He of course proceeded to be sick for another two weeks but thankful he has been healthy and happy ever since!
Love these bronco games. Both kids really get into seeing the players up close and cheering their hearts out at the game. such a fun family memory and I am grateful we have the opportunity to have these types of experiences that don't happen every day!
and Jon and I get to clean up every once in a while and go to the Children's Gala...one of my absolute favorite events of the year. This year was Salt N Peppa...needless to say, I danced all night long!!
