New Year's, Nuggets and Sledding
We wrapped up 2018 and kicked off the New Year with some fun times! We rang in 2019 with some of our good neighborhood friends. The kids made it up until midnight and the adults had some laughs playing Cards Against Humanity.
Then the kids and I took in a Nuggets game while Jon was away training for his new job. It was a fantastic game (close and the Nuggets won) and just so much fun to have some quality time with my monkeys.
it's not winter without sneaking in some sledding. We have had a ton of snow in the city this year so multiple sledding opportunities have come our way.
and it's been a little tougher to squeeze in all of the ski days we would like this year with Jon's new job, but we have made some great memories so far with a trip with the Barbics to Grand Timber and a trip to Beaver Creek with the Sutphins. I think the first day with the Sutphins is one of the longest ski days we have ever had. Beautiful weather and great runs, plus some fun game time at night in the Beav playing fibbage.
Brady has been taking indoor snowboard lessons so Jon also brought him up to the mtns one day to practice on the board and sounds like he is picking it right up!
Now if we can only squeeze in a few more days before end of season...…!
