Double digits for Lylah!

Sweet Squeaks (newest nickname) has turned 10! Can't believe my little baby has turned double digits.
For this year's bday, she first had a laser tag party with a bunch of her friends which was a blast. The girls squealed and ran a ton and seemed to have a great time.  I offered to bring her lunch at school the day before her bday but she wasn't into that (boohoo) so I surprised her with a cookie dough cake pop at home instead.
Then for Lylah's actual bday, she chose Cheesecake Factory for her bday dinner and we did some shopping at Justice.
She continues to amaze me! She is super smart and doing really well in school. She has lots of girlfriends and currently loves to dance, listen to music, do art, practice her cooking (plating skills!), play Roblox on her chromebook, and spend time hanging with the family.
She loves her sleep in the mornings and is famous for asking for just " five more minutes to dream".
before she will get up. I love it!!!!
She has started hanging and having conversations with her brother more and she loves her doughnuts, pop tarts, pasta, but she has also started trying new foods and liking them!!
She is still doing soccer and running faster than anyone on the team with her super long legs and she is still a gorgeous dancer.
She started choir this spring so I can't wait to see her perform in a few weeks.
she still has lots of sass, mostly when she is tired, and we are both quick to argue but then also super quick to either laugh about it or make up. Neither one of us can stay mad at each other long!
and she still can be so sweet and kind and thoughtful and giving, to me...to Brady, to Charlie, Jon and others.
she has a very thoughtful side to her and a desire to do good for others.
she talks about wanting to have a career in science and technology so we will see where that leads her.

I am just so proud of the young lady she is becoming. She is beautiful inside and out and I love her to the moon and back. Every night, we read a one pager from her Rebel Girls book. It teaches us about strong women in history and we have enjoyed reading and discussing the various ladies. We have had some great girl dates and I can't wait to spend more time with her as she becomes a young women!
Love my Lylah Bean, Beanie Boo, Squeaks, LuLu girl!
