Miss Amy

Never, ever in my wildest dreams could I have imagined getting the call from one of my best friends (Craig) that his wife (Amy) had a seizure and was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
Craziest story....in one week's time, she was diagnosed, had brain surgery, removed it, recovering and back to "normal"! No post op treatment, no malignancy, no issues from the tumor or surgery. It truly could not have been better news, given the diagnosis. She can't drive for three months but if that is the worst of it, that can be figured out!
It was a scary beginning and Craig leaned on me a bit because of my past history in dealing with brain tumors so it was a very emotional week for lots of reasons. But I am so very thankful that her quick story has a happy ending!
