A Christmas to remember.....

This year marked our first Christmas, ever, in our home. We have always been lucky enough to get to spend Xmas with my parents at their house. Mom always makes Xmas such an amazing time, with yummy food and traditions that have been with us for years.
But this year, Grandmama and Grandbob came to us and we had a really nice time.
Grandbob was still recovering from surgery and we had a new addition to the family this year (see next post) so it was a bit more low key, but it was just the way I like it. Good memories, fun food, holiday traditions, including the kids first time watching our all time favorite "Christmas Vacation" movie!
We were lucky to have Grandma Barb and Papa, Uncle Bud and Karina and Cousin Dave over for Xmas dinner and the meal actually turned out alright :-)
I felt very blessed this year, as I do every year, to be with family and carry on some of our favorite traditions.

Xmas also included some many fun things leading up to it that made this time of year special!
Lylah's dance recital (four different dances!!!) and 3rd grade choir concert...so pretty!
Littleton Xmas parade (our annual tradition)!
nutcracker with Lylah for the first time. So very cool. We both loved it!
Golden Xmas parade. Love this one too and had great weather.
adventures with George, our family Elf. He keeps us on our toes and both kids had great fun looking for him every single day
holiday volunteering at the Children's Hospital South Campus Xmas event. the kids were troopers and were so kind to the smaller kids
A Christmas Carol with the family. A family first as well and all loved it!
Hudson Gardens lights...another annual tradition that never disappoints.
