And so it ends....

Brady's time at Blue Heron Elementary has come to an end. It's hard to believe that after going there for 7 years, he will never again attend a class, recess, field day, Run for Funds, etc. Bittersweet. I am so proud of all that he has accomplished this year.....spelling bee state finalist, Outdoor Lab High Potential participant, Band soloist, great grades and more!
It was a different year with Brady's two good friends no longer in the state but he adjusted well, made some new friends and thrived at school.
I watched him at continuation, all dressed up (more than most kids) and couldn't believe how fast time has gone by.
The best part of the ceremony was when the class sang a Jason Mraz song and I started crying. Brady looked over at me and gave me the same smile he has given me for years....it's a sweet smile that shows me he cares and it meant the world to me in that moment. Won't forget it.
I am very excited for what is ahead for him but it's hard for me to let go of my little one going to Blue Heron Elementary all of these years!
The best is yet to come for this kid!!!!
