His attention has always been turned to me...his mama....or school, sports and the rest of the family. But now this girl likes him and he likes her and it's really throwing me off. Don't get me wrong....I am happy for him as I can tell he thinks it's cool. But I of course worry about him growing up too fast, getting distracted too easily or putting all his eggs in this one basket.
I know I need to give him some space and let him explore this and learn some things on his own, but this sure is hard.
The L word has come up so we have talked about what that means and who it is meant for but we will see how this all goes.
I remember these days so I want to let him enjoy it but it's hard not to be Mama Bear
