Final Ski of the season

we capped off the ski season this year with a quick but memorable trip to Beaver Creek. We were able to stay in one of the nicest places we have ever stayed due to our time share trade and we all thought it was just the coolest.
Beautiful room, fantastic hot tubs, wonderful service and treatment, good meals and fun bonding time. We really enjoyed the smores by the fire pit both nights and the lack of crowds, tons of sunshine and pretty good skiing we had too.

Brady tried boarding the second day so Lylah got in some good mom/daughter runs while the boys shredded their way down the mountain.
What's funny is I think my favorite memory of this trip will be the late night conversations the kids had in their bedroom.....and they didn't know I could hear them :-)
it was just cool to hear them talking as friends....not arguing, not proving each other wrong but actually conversing like two pre teen friends who had interesting things to say to each other.
Getting out of town, away from the routine, can lead to so much more than just the activities you are doing on the vacation. Well worth the whirlwind 48 hours!!!
